Arthur Area Association Marketing
Have you got some new ideas in how to promote Arthur? Are you part of a group, local event or business that advertises to the public in the hope of attracting people for any reason? If so, the Association of Commerce .Marketing Committee would like to hear from you.
The Association Marketing Committee is reaching out to anyone who would like input into how we might better promote Arthur to potential event attendees, visitors, customers, new businesses or potential residents. We need new ideas to let people know what a great place Arthur is to live, work and visit.
If you have experience or talent in marketing, advertising, print radio or TV media, internet and web layout or design, or can write creative copy and want to help develop new Arthur marketing campaigns for festivals and events, general seasonal Arthur marketing, and longer term outreach marketing to customers and visitors, you might want to help.
Or, if you just have opinions on past Arthur advertising-good or bad, or new ideas on where or how we should try promoting the town, the businesses, the area or specific events, we’d like to hear from you.
If you are involved in any way with a group or activity that reaches out for customers or visitors (advertises) you should at least join our mail list to keep abreast of the new ideas and how you or your group can be included and benefit from group ads, event calendars, mailings and promotions. You or your group can participate in lower cost group advertising and get more bang for your advertising dollar. Many advertising projects may qualify for advertising grant money from the state of Village if included in our AAAoC annual plans.
Developing an Arthur marketing plan is a continuing process of review and will take a long term approach. Much of the marketing planning is developed many months in advance of the event or season and specific ad creation will be developed and discussed thru email rather than frequent meetings, so getting involved should be easy.
Contact George Fritz at The Woodloft, 543-2766 or george at arthuril.com or Rod Randall at Randall Electric, 543-3133 or randall at arthur.k12.il.us if you want to be involved or just be kept in the loop.
